Aryanization, Aryanized
In the Nazi era, Jewish-owned buildings, businesses, or firms that had been taken over by "Aryans" were referred to as "Aryanized." Methods of "Aryanization" included both legally sanctioned purchase and theft. Usually the Jewish owners were forced to sell.
